Sacha Sewell Big Day Out Sacha Sewell is director of El Dorado Music. El Dorado are the Adelaide promoters of the Big Day Out and Adelaide reps for the Soundwave Festival. We site manage Parklife, Stereosonic annually in Adelaide as well as the Triple J One Night Stands and other J’s events around Australia. Have also worked on We Love Sounds, Future Music and many other festivals in SA. Peculiarly also site managed the Andre’ Rieu extravaganza in SA. Prior to establishing El Dorado Music Sacha cut his teeth as the booker for Adelaide UniBar from 1995 and facilitated the many large festivals and concerts at Adelaide Uni. |

Scott Hicks Kino Films Scott Hicks is an internationally acclaimed filmmaker. His film ‘Shine’ was an international box office sensation and was nominated for seven Academy Awards, including Scott’s personal nominations for Best Director and Best Original Screenplay. After directing three studio films in the U.S., Scott recently returned to South Australia to film ‘The Boys Are Back’ starring Clive Owen. The film has a hand crafted soundtrack with score by composer Hal Lindes including music by Sigur Rós and Australian grunge band ‘Mayfield’. |

Gordon Andersen As the Industry Development Officer for Ausmusic SA Gordon works to build the South Australian contemporary music sector’s profile and networks, advising musicians on securing resources, marketing and distribution strategies, promotion, business management and touring. Gordon also manages the independent Australian rock band Mere Theory. |

Jett Heysen Hicks Mayfield Jethro “Jett” Heysen-Hicks Began playing in bands in Adelaide at 18. Moved to Los Angeles in 2005. Toured and recorded with members of Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson band, Unwritten Law and Veruca Salt. Graduated with honours in bass guitar from the Musicians Institute of Technology in California in 2007. Joined Mayfield in 2007. Completed 3 tours of the UK and Europe. Composed songs for the Warner Brothers film: No Reservations and the Miramax film The Boys Are Back among others. |

Steve Clarke Blue Empress Music With more than 15 years experience in the music business Steve brings a unique perspective to the Festival. An Anglican minister, Steve has a passion for spirituality, indigenous culture, and the arts. After starting out as a musician in the 70’s, he has since worked internationally as a minister, University lecturer, and entrepreneur. In 2001 he founded the Blue Empress Music Group, a US based management agency specializing in Blues & Roots music. |

Offering a diverse range of services including management, licensing music and television through to mentoring and consultancies. Export Solutions is totally focused on three specific services that support international business growth: EMDG – Export Market Development Grants, Exhibitions and Trade Fairs, and Business Matching. Sue specialises in EMDG for music and the arts. |

Mick Wordley Mixmaster Records Mick has been a part of the Adelaide independent music scene for about 20 years, recording, producing and playing with many independent Adelaide and Australian artists, owner and main engineer / producer at Mixmasters Studios, he has also run a very independent label, supporting and assisting artists to produce authentic quality releases, where they may have struggled. |
