In January 2009, Millie was appointed to the newly created position – Export Music Producer, Sounds Australia. The role, jointly funded between APRA|AMCOS and the Australia Council for the Arts, overseas the management and implementation of SOUNDS AUSTRALIA – the national export platform specifically developed for the Australian music industry’s representation at key music markets, promoting Australian musical repertoire to the world at events such as Midem, SXSW, The Great Escape, Womex, CMJ and Canadian Music Week.

Stu Watters

Stuart Watters has been working in the music industry for over 15 years and brings with him a diverse collection of experiences. His previous roles and experience vary broadly from being the CEO of the Australian Independent Record Labels Association (AIR), running the Queensland Music Network (Q Music), serving on the Worldwide Independent Network (WIN) and holding a position on the International Honorary Committee at MIDEM for 5 years. He has also served on several government advisory and policy development committees and boards and have been an active lobbyist at government and internally for the music sector more broadly. In 2009, after five years at AIR, Stuart left with a desire to develop his own Film Production, Music Services and Consulting company, Morph TV and has recently commenced working with Nightlife Music + Video in Brisbane.
