Chris Maund Ivy League Chris is the general manager of Ivy League Records, home to the likes of Josh Pyke, The Vines, The Mess Hall and Cloud Control to name a few. Chris is also the head of business affairs at the Mushroom Group of Companies, which includes Frontier Touring, Premier/Harbour Booking Agents, Mushroom Publishing and Liberation Music. Prior to joining the Mushroom Group, Chris was an artist lawyer at Brett Oaten Solicitors who represent the likes of John Butler Trio, silverchair, Powderfinger and Empire of the Sun. |
Nick O’Byrne AIR AIR is the Australian peak body for independent record labels and self released artists. AIR represents indies through advocacy, professional development, education and publicity. It also publishes the AIR independent music charts and hosts the annual AIR Awards. Even though Nick’s heart will always lie with Rock and Roll, he used to study classical music and still gigs around Melbourne playing the vibraphone and writing electronic music. |

MGM Distribution was established in April 1998 is an independent distributor of CD’s and music related merchandise. David Vodicka Rubber Records – Air David Vodicka is the principal of entertainment law firm Media Arts Lawyers and has had extensive experience with almost 20 years practice representing musicians, artists, performers, composers, recording, production, management and publishing entities. He has dealt in all facets of law affecting the creative industries, and has had considerable hands on experience in the music recording and publishing fields as director of independent label Rubber Records and music publisher Rubber Music Publishing. He is a passionate advocate for local music and creative industries and presently is chairman of the board of AIR (the Australian Independent Record labels association), Vice President of WIN (Worldwide Independent Network), a current board member of MIFF (Melbourne International Film Festival) and ARIA (Australia Recording Industry Association) and is a past board member of the PPCA (Phonographic Performance Company of Australia). |
